9 inches of heavy wet snow. I hope the trees will be okay!!

New Refrigerator!

We found this refrigerator at the Sears "scratch and dent" store. We got a bargain and it is so exciting not to have the "noise" and all the space in this new fridge. It is wonderful.

Brainard Lake with Christine

Not sure how to turn this picture. But you can see that it was like a "winter zone" up at Brainard Lake. That is where we went snow shoeing a couple of Christmas's ago. Of course--it was cold and snowed in the mountains the weekend that Christine arrived. It sure was beautiful though!

Boulder Falls with Christine.

It was so fun to have Christine come for a visit. After some projects on the weekend, we headed up in the mountains and our first stop was Boulder Falls--just outside of Boulder. It was cold--but a beautiful day.

Fall in the Colorado Rockies

Dad and I went on a drive on the "Peak to Peak" highway. It was spectacular!! I just love fall.

Some of the aspens were reddish--gorgeous.

Labor Day Weekend with Brian and Kristi

We started the weekend with a Segway Tour of LaJolla--it was so much fun. Dad's camera was on a weird setting and so our pictures didn't turn out very well . . .

Painting the inside of the house

Ric has been working really hard painting the entire main floor of our house in Colorado. We (or should I say he) finished this weekend and it looks great! Can't wait for you to see it!!
